About Me
Hello there! I'm Tommy Schwaderer, and this is my portfolio. I have recently graduated from Iowa State University with a bachelor's degree in Computer engineering and a minor in Psychology. I am hoping to get into the video game industry when I graduate, but I am certainly willing to look into any good jobs in Computer engineering that I could get.
I have been interested in computers and video games for a long time. I've always found something in video games that I could never quite find in TV shows or books or whatever other media people may look at. The sense of being able to interact with this other world was just something that always pulled me towards video games and away from any other type of media. Plus, video games have some real potential for good that's not always seen these days. I'm hoping I'll be able to take my love for programming and my love for video games and put them together to make something great.

Career Objective
My goal for my career is to become a programmer in the video game industry. This type of job can be looked down upon a lot, as many people think of video games as just childish toys, but I see more them as more than that. If a game is made well and taken seriously, it can teach you a lot about someone else's life, or show you a new story from someone else's point of view. There are a lot of possibilities, and I want to help make video games that live up to their full potential.
